Sallam Saka

I am a fourth-year Biological Physics specialist at the University of Toronto with minors in Statistics and Mathematics. My interests mainly lie in applying statistical and machine learning methods to real world problems, particularly in healthcare. That is the research I do at Sunnybrook Research Institute, where I detect sleep apnea from a consumer wearable headband, and it is most of what I build in my own projects. The rest of what I have done is in experience.
